We are seeking an Airport Concourse Retail Manager to lead a portfolio of airport retail stores within Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport. This is a salaried leadership role responsible for the overall performance of multiple retail locations within an assigned terminal area, including financial results, team development, merchandising execution, inventory management, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

What You'll Lead
As a Retail Manager, you'll be entrusted with leading multiple airport retail locations while partnering closely with fellow Retail Managers, Directors, and support teams to ensure a seamless guest experience throughout the terminal.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing retail team.
  • Create a culture centered on serving others, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one coaching conversations, performance reviews, and career development discussions.
  • Build leadership bench strength by mentoring Assistant Managers and future leaders.
  • Foster a positive, engaging workplace where team members feel valued and supported.

Operational Excellence
  • Own the day-to-day operations of multiple retail locations within your assigned terminal area.
  • Ensure stores consistently meet company standards for cleanliness, organization, visual presentation, and operational execution.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, airport regulations, safety standards, and loss prevention procedures.
  • Lead daily operational planning while proactively solving problems before they impact guests.
  • Partner with warehouse, merchandising, and support teams to ensure stores remain fully stocked and guest-ready.

Financial Performance
  • Own sales, profitability, labor, and operating expense performance for your assigned stores.
  • Analyze business trends and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop action plans that drive revenue while maintaining healthy margins.
  • Manage scheduling and labor to balance exceptional guest service with operational efficiency.
  • Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, shrink reduction, and strong merchandising practices.

  • Monitor product performance and recommend assortment improvements based on guest purchasing trends.

Collaboration
  • Work closely with fellow Retail Managers, Food & Beverage leaders, Warehouse Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, and Airport partners.
  • Participate in company initiatives, new store openings, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Communicate effectively across departments to ensure operational consistency throughout the airport.

Qualifications
We're looking for someone who combines strong business acumen with exceptional people leadership.
Preferred qualifications include:
  • 3-5+ years of progressive retail leadership experience, including responsibility for financial performance.
  • Experience leading multiple departments or retail locations preferred.
  • Proven success coaching, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, inventory management, scheduling, and labor management.
  • Experience analyzing sales reports, KPIs, and operational metrics to drive results.
