Hultquist Place, an Assisted Living community operated by Lutheran Social Services Group, is seeking a Housekeeping & Laundry Manager to lead our environmental services team while working alongside staff to create a clean, safe, and welcoming home for our residents.

This position also provides leadership and oversight of housekeeping services for the common areas throughout Edgewood Communities Independent Living campus, including the Commons, Rosch Building, and shared spaces within the residential buildings.

What You'll Do

As the Housekeeping & Laundry Manager, you will:

  • Lead the daily operations of the Housekeeping & Laundry Department at Hultquist Place.
  • Provide oversight of the minimal housekeeping services at Edgewood Communities.
  • Supervise, schedule, train, and support housekeeping and laundry staff.
  • Work alongside employees in daily housekeeping and laundry duties.
  • Ensure resident rooms and common areas are clean, safe, and welcoming.
  • Oversee resident laundry, clothing, and facility linen services.
  • Coordinate room turnover for admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Conduct quality inspections and maintain survey readiness.
  • Manage departmental inventory, purchasing, and supplies.
  • Monitor departmental budgets and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Promote infection prevention, workplace safety, and exceptional customer service.
What We're Looking For

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred

  • Three years of housekeeping, laundry, hospitality, healthcare, or related experience.
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience.
  • Experience in assisted living, long-term care, healthcare, hospitality, or environmental services.
  • Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and quality assurance.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
