Job description


This is a temporary position.

JOB SUMMARY
The Manager, Inventory & Pricing Execution, as part of the Channel Revenue & Optimization team, is responsible for maintaining hotel configurations, room type inventory, and rate offers for a dedicated portfolio of hotels within Marriott's Licensed Brands, including MGM Collection and Trailborn. This role supports Marriott's revenue management and reservations platforms, including High-Performance Pricing (HPP), MARSHA, MarRFP, and Loyalty Redemption capabilities within One Yield. The Manager conducts audits and provides error-handling support between Marriott's current and future central reservation systems and Connectivity Partners. This includes assisting the Senior Manager with communications to affiliated hotels supported by the connectivity solution, as well as their hotel operations, revenue management, and distribution partners. The role also serves as a system subject matter expert, sharing user feedback with Revenue Management, Reservations, Global Technology, and Distribution Product Owners. The Manager supports team operations, helps resolve complex situations, ensures high levels of hospitality and service, and manages the flow of information by directing questions to the appropriate resources.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Required
High school diploma or GED and 3 years' experience in business, revenue management, or related professional area.
Preferred
1+ years' experience with Marriott's transient pricing and inventory strategies.
1+ years' experience with content and asset management platforms, including Product Catalog and DAC.
Strong understanding of Marriott's Loyalty redemption strategy, terms and conditions, availability, and HPP configuration.
Experience communicating effectively with business and technical stakeholders and delivering results in complex environments.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Revenue Management & Reservations Systems Support Activities
Maintains MARSHA VSSM sell strategies, House Deposit, Cancellation, and Guarantee Policies, and Room Types throughout Marriott's Revenue Management systems.
Processes rate loading requests for new offers, policy changes, and updates to value added messaging.
Tracks configuration updates impacting the connectivity solution and provides timely information to the Senior Manager, Connectivity, hotel partners, supervisors, and co-workers through appropriate communication channels.
Ensures all rate offers are set up to mirror the rate distribution, policies, and availability throughout Marriott's Revenue Management systems to maintain rate parity between Marriott's channels and the direct channels of the hotel partners.
Conducts regular audits as well as ad hoc audits as directed by the leadership team.
Researches daily error log reports, identifies and resolves incidents, corrects issues in Marriott systems, and engages hotel partners, Global Technology support teams, or the Senior Manager as needed for escalation, root-cause isolation, and documentation.
Updates flexible room counts at hotels when inventory changes are completed or when hotel partners complete renovations.
Monitors and maintain email mailbox.

Coordinates assigned work and projects, manages time effectively, and conducts activities in an organized manner.
Comply with Federal and State laws applying to procedures.
Analyzes information, evaluates results, and applies problem-solving methodology to choose appropriate solutions, make decisions, and follow up.
