• Improve inventory accuracy, material flow, transaction discipline, and production readiness.

• Partner with Finance and leadership to reduce excess inventory, improve inventory turns, and support reliable inventory reporting.

• Ensure receiving, supplier documentation, and material control practices support quality and production requirements.

• Own and improve key operational metrics including on-time delivery, schedule adherence, labor productivity, material availability, supplier performance, inventory accuracy, and safety.

• Lead process improvement initiatives focused on better flow, fewer shortages, reduced rework, improved accountability, and stronger execution discipline.

• Support implementation of operating standards, management routines, dashboards, and continuous improvement practices.

• Promote a culture of safety, quality, urgency, teamwork, and ownership.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Work closely with Engineering to resolve manufacturability, drawing, material, and production readiness issues.

• Partner with Quality to reduce defects, improve compliance, and ensure production activities meet customer and quality requirements.

• Support Program Management with realistic status updates, risk identification, and recovery planning for customer commitments.

• Communicate clearly with leadership regarding operational risks, resource constraints, staffing needs, schedule threats, and improvement priorities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a focus on Operations Management, Engineering, Manufacturing or Business Management.

• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing operations leadership experience.

• Experience leading production teams in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience managing or working closely with planning, purchasing, inventory, shipping, receiving, or supply chain functions.

• Strong understanding of production scheduling, capacity planning, labor utilization, material flow, and operational KPI management.

• Experience using ERP/MRP systems to support production planning, purchasing, inventory, and operational reporting.
