How will you have an impact in this role?

The Relationship specialist will provide outstanding customer service and will ensure prompt attention to our farmer owners. You will be a part of a supportive team ensuring customers get the help they need.

What will you do?

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by prompt attention assisting or directing customers to the appropriate areas to meet their needs.
  • Maintain and increase agronomy and feed sales, grain origination and marketing with existing customers and grow business with new customers, as applicable.
  • Ability to complete grain contracts, inter-company feed orders, and inventory transfers and purchases, if applicable.
  • Act as a resource for other employees on operational procedures for scale/receiving area, invoicing, and grain contracts.
  • Understand how to document and submit sales call information in CRM (Customer Relationship Management System).Assist with inventory control of products offered at the location.
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies.
  • Prepare accurate/timely invoices; assure equitable calculation of products/services provided.
  • Working knowledge of Landus credit, sales, and inventory policies
  • Daily verification of sales invoices for accuracy
  • Monitor agronomy sales contracts/prepay for accuracy
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Must have a valid state driver’s license.
  • Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One year of related experience.
  • Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment.
