Job description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Fuel Clerk Intern to assist with daily fuel processing, data entry, and recordkeeping. This position is responsible for supporting the accounting department with routine administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain fuel purchase and usage records accurately.

  • Review fuel BOL's and related documentation.

  • Verify pricing, quantities, dates, and account information on fuel transactions.

  • Maintain organized electronic and paper accounting records.

  • Prepare basic reports related to fuel expenses, purchases, and inventory.

  • Identify discrepancies and communicate issues to management or the accounting team.

  • Assist with data entry and other general accounting and administrative duties as needed.

  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.

  • Follow company policies and accounting procedures.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial records.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
