Description:

Position Summary:

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records of materials, components, and finished goods within the facility. This role ensures that all transactions are properly recorded, inventory levels are maintained within target limits, and discrepancies are promptly identified and resolved. The Inventory Clerk works closely with Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Receiving teams to support efficient operations and inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cycle counts and assist in full physical inventory as scheduled.
  • Record and verify all inventory movements, adjustments, and transfers in the ERP system (e.g., Quantum, SAP, or equivalent).
  • Reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records, investigating and documenting root causes.
  • Maintain accurate labeling, bin locations, and part identification throughout the warehouse.
  • Coordinate with Receiving to ensure incoming materials are properly received, inspected, and stored.
  • Support Production by issuing materials as needed and ensuring timely replenishment of stock.
  • Monitor inventory levels to identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess items.
  • Prepare and distribute regular inventory reports to management.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Comply with all company quality standards, FAA/AS9100 procedures, and safety regulations.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or related field (manufacturing environment preferred).
  • Proficiency with ERP or inventory management systems, Quantum preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification a plus).
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting.
