Job description

Description 

As an Inventory Control & Division Support, you’ll play a key role in keeping our warehouse and office running efficiently. This hybrid position combines hands-on inventory management with essential administrative support, ensuring smooth operations across departments. You’ll maintain accurate inventory records, assist with shipments, and provide office support to keep workflows organized and on track. 

Inventory Control 

  • Receiving & Processing Shipments – Inspect, unload, and document inbound freight while ensuring inventory accuracy. 
  • Inventory Tracking & Transfers – Maintain up-to-date records of material movement, ensuring timely and efficient distribution for jobs, sales orders, demos, and service needs. 
  • Discrepancy Resolution – Work with the purchasing team to identify and correct discrepancies in received materials. 
  • Equipment Operation – Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks for material handling. 
  • RF Barcode Scanning & Data Entry – Utilize inventory management systems to scan, track, and process inventory transfers. 
  • Warehouse Organization & Cleanliness – Ensure all inventory is stored properly for accessibility and conduct periodic cycle counts. 
  • Occasional Deliveries – Maintain a clean driving record to assist with inventory deliveries when needed. 
  • Cross-Team Collaboration – Support quarterly inventory audits and provide backup assistance to team members when necessary. 

Administrative & Division Support 

  • Assist with daily logs, expense reimbursements, and basic accounting tasks. 
  • Provide phone, scheduling, and onboarding support as needed. 
  • Coordinate with other departments to keep workflows and communication running smoothly. 
  • Help maintain organized office systems, records, and supplies to support team efficiency. 

Qualifications 

  • Experience in inventory control, cycle counts, shipping, and receiving. 
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems and RF barcode scanning. 
  • Strong computer skills, including data entry, typing, and 10-key operations. 
  • Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks (certification a plus). 
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage inventory flow efficiently. 
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration across departments. 
  • Problem-solving mindset to resolve inventory discrepancies quickly and accurately. 
  • A clean driving record for occasional inventory deliveries.
