The Purchasing Agent supports Sunrise communities by managing tactical purchasing functions, supplier coordination and order guide administration. This role helps ensure cost-effective, compliant and streamlined procurement across North American operations.
What You'll Do:
โ€ข Manage assigned vendors, products and services within corporate formularies and order guides
โ€ข Coordinate implementation of new supplier agreements into corporate purchasing systems
โ€ข Block non-approved products and maintain compliance with purchasing standards
โ€ข Support communities and field operations with order guide updates and supplier questions
โ€ข Track and process rebates, purchasing incentives and related documentation
โ€ข Serve as liaison between Corporate Purchasing, communities, suppliers and operations teams
โ€ข Monitor purchasing data to support cost control and contract compliance
โ€ข Assist with accounting-related purchasing matters within a complex corporate structure
โ€ข Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth execution of procurement initiatives
