Job description

Job Summary

Responsible for managing the inventory in the inventory control storeroom.

Essential Functions
  • Manages the product inventory/asset inventory by maintaining and adjusting pars based on demand/usage.

  • Coordinates repairs, replenishments and create requisitions when the situation requires.

  • Manages products for expiration dates and recalls.

  • Oversees product returns, follow up on missing items/orders.

  • Puts away stock in storeroom.

  • Serves as a knowledge base for nursing, inventory control team and other departments.

  • Works with purchasing to identify clinically acceptable substitute items.

  • Places orders for medical gases.

  • Maintains/updates stock shelf bin labels.

  • Participate in physical inventories.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred

  • Inventory management experience

  • Workday experience

  • Familiar with MS/Office products
