Job description

We’re seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to support our client, a manufacturing company with a fast-paced machine shop environment. Located on-site in Two Rivers, WI, this Temp to Perm role offers a 27-52 week contract. Join a dynamic team focused on accurate shipments, inventory management, and seamless logistics.

Shipping and Receiving Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, package, and ship finished goods according to customer specifications and company standards.
  • Receive and verify incoming materials against documentation, inspecting for damage and resolving discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with carriers for pickups, troubleshoot shipping issues, and maintain shipment records.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, manage movement documentation, and support inventory accuracy.
  • Execute purchase order receipts, resolve related issues, and ensure timely material availability.

Shipping and Receiving Coordinator Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in shipping/receiving or inventory control, ideally within a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting.
  • Strong organizational skills, high accuracy with documentation and counts.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and manual handling equipment safely (certification preferred or willingness to obtain).
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and shipping software is a plus.
