Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary:
The Purchase and Inventory Manager is responsible for managing procurement activities, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and ensuring the timely availability of materials to meet business demands. This role includes vendor management, cost control, and efficient inventory tracking to support operational goals while minimizing waste and maximizing profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Purchasing Management:
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
    • Evaluate and select suppliers based on price, quality, service, and delivery.
    • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with vendors and suppliers.
    • Monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and address delays proactively.
  2. Inventory Control:
    • Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production and sales needs while minimizing carrying costs.
    • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
    • Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and align purchasing activities accordingly.
    • Implement and manage inventory tracking systems to monitor stock levels and turnover.
  3. Vendor Relationship Management:
