Responsibilities: • Analyze large datasets of purchase transactions to identify overpaid sales tax. • Reconcile tax amounts using tax rates, exemptions, and jurisdictional rules. • Work closely with tax consultants to prepare refund claims and supporting documentation. • Utilize SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools to extract and manipulate data. • Identify trends and patterns in sales tax overpayments. • Assist in automating processes to improve data extraction and analysis efficiency. • Communicate findings and recommendations to internal teams and clients.
