Job description

Operator - Pump Truck
SUMMARY
The Pump Truck Operator will drive, setup, operate, and tear down the equipment. Drive, set up boom pump at various construction sites, operates hydraulic boom with remote hand controls, performs operator-level maintenance on pump, and daily inspection of the truck.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operating high-pressure pump using controls such as levers, pedals and buttons
  • Operating high-pressure pump to circulate wells and control down hole well pressure
  • Observing equipment gauges, indicators and hand signals to monitor job activities and conditions
  • Carrying and laying out hoses and joints of pipe from the truck to the wellhead
  • Following safe operating procedures according to specifications of jobs and equipment specifications of loads and equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum one year experience in oil field service industry
  • Knowledge of heavy, diesel-powered truck operations including federal, state and local regulations
  • Reasoning Skills - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to handle problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Valid, active Commercial Driver s License and a clean driving record

COMPUTER
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office preferred

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
  • Must complete and pass all required pre-employment screenings
