EEO/AA Employer M/F/D/V.We are seeking a Crystal Growth Operator  for a graveyard shift in the crystal growth department. This is a full-time position that will be working 12-hour night sift. Some overtime is required during high volume production and may include hours scheduled on weekends and holidays. We are looking for employees wanting long-term employment. Key Responsibilities:Performs, coordinates and executes the activities associated with the growth of Germanium and InSb crystals for Semiconductor applications. This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks.Understand and execute processes and procedures to ensure consistent growth and production of Ge & InSb crystals.Process and handle incoming materials consistent with Kanban order process, logging into process Data Base necessary information.Prepare Puller for Crystal Growth runs, select material, weigh, etch, wash and load material into the Puller.Perform crystal pull process steps and monitor all pertinent data generated from the process in order to ensure successful growth.Perform Puller Preventative MaintenanceVisually inspect pulled crystals for compliance to specifications.Assess the physical and electrical properties of the pulled crystal through appropriate tests.Recycle trimmings and raw crystals back to beginning of process as required.Work closely with Crystal Machining team to ensure smooth transition of Ge through the balance of the production process.Follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure) and QMS (Quality Management System) guidelines. Training / Education:High school diploma or equivalent.Related manufacturing or semiconductor experience and/or training is preferred but not required Basic math, measuring, tracking, and inspecting skills.Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite.Experience in mechanical work is preferable. Must be familiar with basic machine shop tools. Other Requirements:Ability to stand, use hands and arms to handle, feel and reach. Must have hand and finger dexterity and must be capable to handling the products delicately. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Occasionally, be able to lift 60 lbs.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Team player with good communication skillsWillingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required
