• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to determine clients’ mental health concerns, crafting personalized and actionable treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Deliver evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating conversations that promote healing and self-discovery.
• Engage in regular multidisciplinary team meetings with psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow counselors to coordinate care and share insights on treatment progress.
• Provide education and emotional support to clients’ families, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages active participation in recovery processes.
• Maintain detailed, compliant, and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, adhering closely to regulatory and ethical standards.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Pulse Heart Counseling, you will work with a diverse array of clients, each with unique backgrounds and mental health needs. Our client population includes individuals managing conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and various other psychological disorders. You will have the chance to develop cultural competence by interacting with clients from different walks of life, enhancing your therapeutic skills through real-world experience.

• A current and valid mental health license, including LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Doctor of Psychology.
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Proof of specialized training or extensive experiential learning in mental health counseling practices.
• A profound understanding of evidence-based practices relevant to various mental health disorders and the dynamics of therapeutic relationships.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to establish rapport, encouraging client engagement and motivation.
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities, facilitating teamwork within a mental health treatment framework.

• Previous work experience in community mental health settings or similar environments.
• Demonstrated success in working with diverse populations, showcasing adaptability and empathy.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology tools used in remote therapy settings.
