Timenow, LLC is looking for a
QA/QC Electrical Technician
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC Electrical Technician to join our team in Wauna, OR. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of mechanical products through rigorous testing and inspection processes. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Location: Wauna, OR (Candidates must reside within a 60-mile radius) Salary Range: $32.00-$38.00/hr.
Key Responsibilities may include:
  • Oversee inspections and tests during maintenance interventions performed by contractors on electrical systems, components, and assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and applicable codes.
  • Identify and document any defects or non-conformities, and collaborate with maintenance, reliability, and engineering teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure the execution of and adherence to quality control procedures, test plans, and NCR processes as requested by the client.
  • Support root cause analysis for electrical failures and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality control activities in compliance with project and client requirements.
  • Implement and follow established QA/QC procedures and client standards, ensuring alignment with industry regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC).

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electrical engineering, electrical technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, or QA/QC roles within the pulp & paper industry or a related industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical inspection, testing, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, insulation resistance testers, circuit analyzers).
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
