Irving Pulp & Paper is a kraft pulp mill specializing in fibre for premium tissue products in global markets. Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering and in good academic standing  
  • Team player with a safety-first mindset  
  • Ability to effectively time manage multiple projects.  
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 
  • Long-term interest in an engineering career   

Tasks may include:  

  • Providing technical support and services to Operations department. 
  • Provide process engineering services as part of improvement projects across the site. 
  • Process monitoring and data analysis to identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and cost. 
  • Monitor effluent characteristics and ensure compliance with legal requirements. 
  • Participate in troubleshooting of process, environmental and operational issues.Â
