Job description

About MFI

Multifamily flooring is all we do, full stop. We operate across the Pacific Northwest, Idaho, Nevada, and California, and everything about how we quote, install, and support customers is built around this one industry.

We work hard, we compete, and we have a genuinely good time doing it. Culture matters to us here. Nobody's getting micromanaged. You'll work closely with your manager, and if you're producing, you'll have the room to run with it. If something's not working, we'll jump in and solve it together, whether that's riding along with you in the field or figuring out what's getting in your way. We're building a team that wants to work hard, have fun, and make some real money doing it.

Sales Representative, Seattle / Puget Sound Market (Experienced)

We're hiring an experienced sales rep to build a book of business across the greater Seattle and Puget Sound region. You'll be growing your own book from the ground up. Down the road, when reps move on, the people still here sometimes pick up pieces of what they leave behind, that's just how the team evolves over time. But you're starting fresh and building it yourself.

What You'll Do:

  • Work the whole Seattle / Puget Sound market, open territory, wherever you can build relationships and win the business
  • Use our proprietary prospecting system, loaded with the multifamily properties in the market and fully searchable, so you know exactly where the opportunity is instead of guessing
  • Walk properties, quote fast, and close. We keep 300+ flooring SKUs in stock so you've always got what you need to get the deal done
  • Create your own pricing, specs, and estimates directly in our proprietary system
  • Earn what you close, and keep earning it. We reward reps who move fast and get deals done

What MFI Brings:

  • A live database of prospects, so you're not starting cold
  • iPad and iPhone provided, fuel and oil changes reimbursed
  • Install crews, operations, and customer service handling the back end so you can focus on selling
  • $65,000/year base while you build your pipeline, moving to 4% commission on gross sales once commission passes your base, whichever is higher each pay period
  • $200/month car allowance
  • Health benefits and 401(k) after 90 days

You're the Right Fit If:

  • You've got real sales experience, construction, building materials, property management, or another B2B world are all fine
  • You can build relationships with property managers, maintenance supervisors, and ownership groups, or you pick that up fast
  • You want a territory you build yourself and actually own
  • You're driven by closing. You'll have internal competition on the team, and you like that, it pushes everyone to move faster

Existing contacts in the industry help. What matters most is that you can sell, adapt, and close. We'll teach you the product and hand you the system. Bring the drive.

Apply now and tell us about a time you built something from nothing.

Company Description

At MFI, you’re not just taking a job, you’re stepping into a team that’s growing, winning, and building something real.

We move fast and expect a lot, but you’ll have clear direction, strong systems, and a team that has your back. You’ll be trusted with real responsibility, given the tools to succeed, and measured on performance that actually matters.

If you like momentum, want to be part of a team that competes and wins, and still enjoys the work along the way, you’ll do well here.
