Job description

As the Publishing Product Management Lead, Americas, you will play a critical role in shaping strategy across the Americas during a formative stage of a new product's lifecycle. Reporting to the GM of the Americas and working closely with global leads and the development team, you will drive subregional strategies aligned with broader regional and global objectives. Your deep understanding of market trends, player behavior, and cultural nuances across the Americas will be critical as you work to deliver exceptional value to players while ensuring optimal operational efficiency and performance.
You will play a key role in advocating for the region's needs in global decision-making processes and ensuring that product ecosystems and community involvement thrive across the Americas. This role is anchored in strong North America market expertise, while also requiring the cultural fluency and operational judgment to support Latin America and Brazil through effective local partnerships and vendors. In this role, you'll also oversee budgeting and resource allocation to support the successful execution of regional goals. Above all, you will demonstrate a relentless, entrepreneurial drive to always be delivering for players.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute Americas regional strategies for various projects, ensuring alignment with global priorities and focusing on product ecosystems, community engagement, and cultural and market trends across North America, with informed support for Latin America and Brazil.
  • Act as the regional expert on specific target audiences, sharing insights to product and brand teams in order to influence global publishing plans and the product itself.
  • Lead cross-functional workstreams across product, publishing, brand, platform, and comms, operating with a startup mindset and bias toward action.
  • Oversee subregional budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and tracking performance to optimize results.
  • Recommend and align country-based outcomes linked to regional key results, set performance indicators, and track publishing efforts' performance.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, serving as a core voice for Americas players throughout Riot and ensuring regional needs are prioritized in global decision-making.
  • Identify risks in regional projects and provide cultural and market expertise while also ensuring alignment with global strategies.
  • Scale impact through partners, including a broad ecosystem of agencies, vendors, first parties, and external partners, ensuring strong creative quality and operational execution.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or comparable professional experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in game publishing, entertainment, sports, or non-traditional media brands, with a track record of shaping regional strategies and delivering outcomes.
  • Proven experience leading regional publishing or marketing strategy across multiple markets in the Americas, with deep expertise in North America strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of cultural and consumer dynamics across the Americas, including the ability to partner effectively with vendors and external stakeholders to support Latin America and Brazil.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with comfort operating in ambiguity and early-stage product environments.
  • Clear, confident communicator with experience representing regional perspectives to senior global leadership.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Multilingual capabilities relevant to the region, especially Spanish and/or Portuguese, enhancing communication with local stakeholders, partners, and vendors.
  • Demonstrated success delivering multiplatform strategies, including PC and first party console ecosystems
  • Extensive experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed environment and working with working with teams across various geographies.

For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes the delight of players. We will be looking at your past studies, experience, and your personal relationship with games. If you embody player empathy and care about players' experiences, this could be your role!
Our Perks:
Riot focuses on work/life balance, shown by our open paid time off policy and other perks such as flexible work schedules. And just like in our games, we're better when we work together. Our goal is to create collaborative teams where you are empowered to bring your unique perspective everyday. If that sounds like the kind of place you want to work, we're looking forward to your application.
