Position: Assistant/Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical and Graduate Life Sciences (Pharmacology)

Department: Pharmaceutical and Graduate Life Sciences

Campus: Fort Wayne, IN

Target Hire Date: January 2027


Manchester University invites applications for a 10-month, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical and Graduate Life Sciences (Pharmacology). The successful candidate will join the College of Health Professions, School of Pharmacy, to teach in a dynamic, collaborative environment that emphasizes the teacher-scholar model and innovation in pharmacy education. The faculty member will contribute to teaching, scholarship, and service within the program.


What You'll Do:

Teaching (60%)

  • Deliver high-quality instruction in pharmacology and related areas through in-person and distance formats.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and refine curriculum that reflects emerging trends in pharmacy practice.
  • Serve as a course coordinator and develop elective offerings aligned with expertise.
  • Mentor and model professional excellence for pharmacy students.

Scholarship (20%)

  • Maintain an active scholarly agenda in pharmacology, including discovery, application, integration, or teaching scholarship.
  • Pursue fundable research aligned with institutional priorities.
  • Publish and present scholarly work and collaborate across disciplines.

Service (20%)
