As a Public Works Crew Member at Tri Scapes, you will play an essential part in enhancing and maintaining the public infrastructure and community spaces that residents rely on every day. This position requires a versatile individual capable of handling a variety of tasks, from right-of-way maintenance to general municipal upkeep. You will work as part of a dedicated team to ensure that public areas are safe, clean, and visually appealing, representing the high standards of both our company and the municipalities we serve.

Duties

  • Handle general labor tasks like digging, hauling, and moving materials for various projects
  • Assist in the maintenance and repairs of roadways, sidewalks, and drainage systems as needed
  • Safely run and maintain all hand tools, power tools, and light equipment
  • Keep all job-sites and work areas safe, clean of debris, and up to standard
  • Work well with your crew and follow through on supervisors instruction
  • Report all safety concerns and maintenance issues as they appear

Skills

  • Some experience in construction or landscaping, concrete finishing or pavement patching is a huge plus
  • Comfortable operating basic tools and equipment safely
  • Ability to work outdoors in differing weather conditions
  • A team player who communicates well and gets along with the crew
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with clean MVR
  • Background in Right of Way work (setting up work zones or flagging traffic)
  • Familiarity with local infrastructure or an OSHA safety certification will help you stand out
