Job Description:

Datasite is hiring a hands-on communications leader to help tell one of the most compelling stories in AI and fintech today. Backed by private equity and growing fast, Datasite is building a new category: secure, AI-powered M&A. A connected ecosystem that powers the full lifecycle of capital transactions, from deal sourcing and origination through deal screening, diligence, execution, and post-close. With Datasite's acquisitions of Grata (private market data), Blueflame AI (agentic AI), and Sherpany (board reporting), Datasite is redefining how deals get done. This is a role for someone who wants to do more than support a narrative; they want to help build it. You will work closely with senior executives to shape how Datasite and its businesses show up in the market, connecting powerful individual brands into one category-defining story.

Why Join Datasite Now

Datasite is at a defining moment. The company is scaling quickly, expanding its platform through strategic acquisitions, and creating a new category in the market at the intersection of AI, fintech, and private markets. For the right communications leader, this is a chance to step into a high-visibility role with real influence, and to shape the story of a company that is not just growing but changing how the world approaches capital transactions.

Why This Role Matters

This role sits at the center of Datasite's next chapter of growth. You will help shape how the market understands a fast-scaling, PE-backed company that is unifying proprietary data, workflow automation, secure execution, and agentic AI into a single ecosystem for dealmaking. It is a rare opportunity to build visibility for a category-defining platform while partnering with some of the company's most senior leaders.

In this role, you will directly contribute to:

  • Building Datasite's reputation as the trusted leader in end-to-end, AI-powered M&A.
  • Connecting the stories of Datasite, Grata, Blueflame AI, and Sherpany into a compelling market narrative that supports growth and cross-sell
  • Elevating executive visibility and thought leadership across media, analysts, and industry influencers
  • Driving high-impact PR execution in a role with real ownership, speed, and strategic visibility

Priority Focus Areas

  • Shape and amplify the corporate narrative connecting Datasite, Grata, Blueflame AI, and Sherpany-showcasing the strength of each brand and the differentiated value they create together
  • Position Datasite as the leader in AI-powered dealmaking and the category creator in M&A infrastructure
  • Support cross-selling momentum by elevating the company's one-stop-shop value proposition for deal teams, investors, and enterprise decision-makers
  • Increase high-quality media visibility across business, financial, tech, AI, and private markets press
  • Drive operational excellence in a high-volume, multi-brand PR environment where speed, clarity, and execution matter

What You'll Do:

Lead high-impact media engagement across key markets

  • Drive proactive media outreach, story pitching, and journalist engagement across top-tier business, financial, technology, AI, and private markets press
  • Build and deepen relationships with the reporters, editors, and influencers shaping the conversation around dealmaking, AI, and capital markets
  • Move quickly on reactive opportunities, from breaking news moments to inbound requests and executive commentary

Operate as a strategic connector across brands, teams, and agencies

  • Serve as liaison across Datasite and agency partners, translating business strategy into high-quality execution
  • Manage workflows across corporate and business unit priorities, including Datasite, Grata, Blueflame AI, and Sherpany
  • Create clarity in a fast-moving environment by keeping campaigns, deliverables, and stakeholders aligned

Help scale global campaigns with smart regional activation

  • Adapt global campaigns and messaging for priority markets and audiences, ensuring relevance without losing strategic consistency
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and agencies to execute regionally resonant outreach plans that support enterprise growth
  • Connect brand-level activity to the broader corporate narrative so the full Datasite ecosystem is stronger together

Create the stories and content that move the market

  • Draft and refine press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, executive commentary, and other external communications with speed and precision
  • Develop thought leadership angles and contributed content that elevate Datasite's voice in AI, fintech, dealmaking, and private markets
  • Spot timely storylines and translate complex product and market shifts into clear, differentiated narratives

Amplify the voice of senior leadership

  • Support executive media preparation with strong briefing materials, sharp messaging, and seamless interview coordination
  • Help build thought leadership programs across bylines, speaking opportunities, awards, and strategic visibility moments

Drive reporting, insights and performance tracking

  • Track performance against KPIs (e.g. coverage volume, share of voice, sentiment)
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting cycles
  • Identify opportunities to increase visibility and improve outcomes

Who You Are

  • A self-starter who executes vs. escalates-you see work through end-to-end
  • You love crafting narratives and pitching to media
  • You are comfortable operating across multiple priorities, brands, and geographies simultaneously
  • You thrive in a PE-backed environment - comfortable with rapid context-switching, tight timelines, and a leadership team that moves faster than process.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven

Required Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in communications or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or agency environment
  • Proven track record of building relationships with media and securing impactful coverage across business, tech, and vertical outlets
  • Strong writing skills across press materials, pitches and executive content
  • Experience supporting B2B technology, financial services, AI or M&A-related sectors
  • AI literacy - experience with AI tools to drive productivity and effectiveness

Key Skills

  • Media relations (UK + Europe)
  • Content development and storytelling
  • Campaign execution and project management
  • Stakeholder coordination (internal + agency)
  • Data-driven mindset with focus on measurable outcomes
