Walker Sands is seeking a creative, strategic, and confident Senior PR Manager to join our growing team.
We're an agency built on constant learning and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of what B2B communications can achieve. Our clients range from Fortune 500 brands to high-growth startups across technology, professional services, and other innovation-driven industries.
As a Senior PR Manager, you'll lead a portfolio of B2B technology accounts and own PR programs from strategy through execution. You'll shape compelling narratives, build strong media relationships, and partner closely with teams to deliver strategic communications programs that elevate brand awareness, credibility, and reputation. You'll also work directly with clients, guiding them confidently through recommendations, insights, and program decisions.
You'll play a key role in developing the next generation of PR talent-coaching, mentoring, and fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and excellence.
What You'll Do:
PR Strategy + Execution
  • Develop a deep understanding of each client's industry, business, and audiences.
  • Lead PR programs end-to-end - from strategy development to hands-on execution - with confidence and clarity.
  • Build and execute PR strategies that tell compelling stories and drive meaningful media coverage.
  • Partner with Client Services to ensure programs align with clients' business goals and deliver measurable value.
  • Lead execution of key PR program elements including media relations, analyst relations, awards, speaking, and content.
  • Lead regular client communications, including owning and facilitating weekly PR calls and check-ins.
  • Own and lead media relations efforts, with strong existing relationships.
  • Identify emerging media opportunities and trends, sharing insights across teams to inform strategy and spark new ideas.
  • Support and participate in social media influencer campaigns, integrating content and coverage amplification strategies.

Results + Measurement
  • Set clear expectations with clients and guide them through PR best practices.
  • Track, analyze, and report on program performance using relevant metrics.
  • Demonstrate the impact of PR efforts through thoughtful insights and data-driven storytelling

Team Leadership
  • Coach and mentor a team of PR professionals, supporting their growth and development.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing environment rooted in learning and shared expertise.
  • Help shape internal processes that improve efficiency, quality, and team success.

Process + Innovation
  • Stay ahead of shifts in the media landscape and emerging industry trends.
  • Develop growing expertise in how AI is shaping the technology landscape and use that knowledge to contribute to messaging, research, and media outreach.
  • Champion new tools, systems, and best practices that keep Walker Sands at the forefront of modern PR.

What You Bring:
  • 4-6 years of PR agency experience, ideally in B2B and/or technology sectors.
  • Client management and people leadership experience
  • Proven ability to lead PR programs confidently from strategy through execution.
  • Strong media relationships and the ability to craft compelling narratives and pitch ideas.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to connect PR programs to broader business goals.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • We strive for salary range transparency in our hiring process. This is a major step towards not only complying with regulations where required, but also to make sure pay equity and DEI are top of mind during the hiring process. Base salary is only a part of the total rewards package - this role will also be eligible for a bonus based on company performance, as well as benefits. Below is the starting salary for this role:
