Public Health Program Jobs in Minnesota (NOW HIRING)

OVERVIEW
The Department of Health and Exercise Science in the Morrison Family College of Health at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN invites applicants for an adjunct position for Spring 2027 in public health. We seek applicants who are committed to excellence in teaching at the graduate level. We welcome applicants who can provide course development and teach at least one of the following: program planning and evaluation, health communications, aging, maternal and child health, leadership and program administration, and biostatistics.
This position may be performed remotely; however, candidates must reside in Minnesota.
The University of St. Thomas is a dynamic, mission-driven, urban university with 10,000 students and 450 full-time faculty. Located in a residential neighborhood with easy access to both downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul, we are Minnesota's largest private university with 150+ undergraduate majors/minors and 55 graduate programs. In 2019, the Morrison Family College of Health became the newest addition to the institution's eight different schools and colleges. The college is comprised of several departments and schools, including the Department of Health and Exercise Science (HES), that was established prior to the college's inception and houses the undergraduate public health major and the Master of Public Health online program, launching Fall 2026. Salary Range:
$6,324 per course load for the 2026-2027 school year (per 4 credit undergraduate course).
QUALIFICATIONS

• A terminal degree (Ph.D., Dr.P.H., or equivalent), U.S. or Foreign Equivalent, in public health, epidemiology, global health, health policy, or related health field.
• Evidence of teaching effectiveness from prior teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. At least one year of teaching experience required, which may include experience teaching on record as a teaching assistant.
• Experience teaching online.
• Experience with course development and assessment.

Step 2.
