) Parkway Pavilion, a respected long-term care and rehabilitation facility in Enfield, CT, is seeking an experienced and dependable Director of Maintenance to oversee the daily operations, safety, and physical upkeep of our campus. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who ensures a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all maintenance operations, including building systems, grounds, equipment, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Lead, train, and schedule maintenance staff, ensuring timely completion of work orders and facility needs.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including life safety, fire safety, and Department of Public Health standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contract work, inspections, and service agreements.
  • Conduct routine facility walkthroughs to identify repair needs, safety risks, or improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, coordinating repairs and replacing equipment as needed.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, and purchasing of supplies and equipment.
  • Collaborate with administration and nursing to ensure the facility remains survey-ready at all times.
