Job Description

BeVera Solutions is seeking a Web Content and Communications Manager to support day-to-day content operations for a federal public health website. This position will lead content planning, website update coordination, digital communications support, editorial workflow management, stakeholder communication, and content quality review. The selected candidate will help ensure website content remains current, accessible, aligned with agency priorities, and responsive to evolving program needs. This role supports the RFI’s web content management and communications/publications requirements and aligns closely with BeVera’s background in health communications, web updates, and public-facing content support. This position is contingent upon successful contract award to BeVera Solutions, LLC.


NOTE: Position Contingent upon award of contract. This role is part of a pre-award candidate search for an upcoming federal government contract.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate website content updates and content refresh cycles.
  • Manage editorial calendars, content review workflows, and government feedback incorporation.
  • Draft, edit, and adapt web-ready content and communications materials.
  • Coordinate with government stakeholders and technical teams to implement approved content changes.
  • Support outreach, webinars, events, and health storytelling initiatives tied to the site.
  • Help ensure website content reflects agency goals, policy priorities, and plain-language expectations.
  • Monitor content quality, broken links, outdated information, and presentation issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public health, English, journalism, digital media, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in web content management, digital communications, public health communications, or editorial support.
  • Experience writing and editing for websites, fact sheets, presentations, newsletters, or other public-facing products.
  • Strong coordination skills and ability to work with subject matter experts and government reviewers.
  • Familiarity with content governance and digital publishing workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting HHS, CDC, or federal health communications programs.
  • Experience with Drupal or similar CMS platforms.
  • Familiarity with web analytics, plain language standards, and health equity communications.
