Oxford Casino Hotel, located in Oxford, Maine, is indeed part of Churchill Downs Incorporated and has seen significant growth since it opened in 2012. The casino boasts a variety of gaming options for our visitors, including 23 table games and over 900 of the latest and most popular slot machines.  The property also features 2 restaurants, the Ox Pub, and the Oxford Express, and a 107-room hotel which includes 6 well-appointed suites.

JOB SUMMARY

The Express Attendant will contribute to the success of Oxford Casino by providing customer service to all guests and team members. They will create an experience for all guests by providing them with prompt service, quality products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store experience. Excellent customer service skills are required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Adheres to all Standard Operating Procedures, (SOPs).
  2. Delivers items ordered by Guests.
  3. Ability to cash-handle.
  4. Uses point of sale equipment to enter orders for Kitchen personnel, and close out checks.
  5. Uses equipment such as pizza oven, merry chef and hot dog warmer.
  6. Is a role model for the company and responds to questions positively.
  7. Must be detail oriented.
  8. Must be able to perform under stressful, demanding situations in perhaps small quarters of four feet or less, with four foot access. 
  9. Ability to work in non-smoking area.
  10. Works with communication devices such as telephones, and bulletin boards and communication book.
  11. Speaks with Guests to maintain great guest relations and provides opportunities for loyalty to occur.
  12. Maintains confidentiality and security of relevant information.
  13. Maintains an awareness of applicable laws and operates within those guidelines.                                                                                                                                                                                                     
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, CONT.
  • Demonstrated record of successful interpersonal skills in regard to working with diverse people and levels of authority.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task.
  • Service food orders for internal and external guests.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, and body language.
  • This position requires sufficient experience, education and job knowledge to meet current business needs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Required prolonged standing and walking with mobility. Bending and reaching from a level height to 6 feet. Ability to lift, carry, and push items up to 40 pounds such as Food Service carts with no hindrance. Normal hearing, vision, and hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
