Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations, utilizing standardized tools and personalized approaches to accurately gauge clients' mental health status.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients' unique goals and therapeutic needs, incorporating evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to adult clients through teletherapy, ensuring a safe and confidential environment for discussing sensitive issues.
  • Respond to crisis situations skillfully, employing appropriate intervention strategies and resources while ensuring the safety and support of clients.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, including attending workshops and conferences, to stay current with best practices in mental health treatment.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals, ensuring a cohesive approach to client treatment and ongoing support.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will center around a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma-related issues. By leveraging teletherapy, you will have the unique opportunity to assist clients who may have limitations in accessing in-person services, ensuring equitable access to mental health care in our community.

Qualifications
  • A valid and current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A master's or doctoral degree in one of the following fields: Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities that facilitate a trusting therapeutic alliance with clients.
  • Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach to mental health care.
  • Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively while adhering to deadlines and policies.
  • No history of disciplinary actions with any licensing board.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with teletherapy platforms and virtual counseling methods.
  • Familiarity with various evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to adult clients.
  • Previous experience working in community health settings or similar environments is advantageous.
