A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. Ideal candidates are patient-focused, mission-driven individuals who provide high-quality physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, documenting care, and communicating patient responses to the supervising Physical Therapist. The PTA serves as an educator and advocate for patients and their families, promoting safe mobility, functional independence, and overall wellness. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, supporting therapy program goals, and participating in ongoing professional development to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
