West Side Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate and skilled full-time Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dedicated team in San Bernardino, California. This role is pivotal in assisting patients to regain mobility and enhance their physical function. As a vital member of our small, supportive team, you will focus on diverse aspects of recovery, including promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation, ensuring each patient's path to recovery is collaborative and tailored.

The position will be performed onsite, providing face-to-face interaction with our patients in their own homes. This unique setting allows for a personalized experience, as you directly observe and address specific challenges faced by patients within their living environments. The clinic operates with a structured schedule, allowing for a predictable work-life balance, with hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

• Conduct thorough evaluations to recognize and fulfill the goals and needs of each patient effectively.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring focused and quality care.
• Utilize your expertise from previous orthopedic outpatient experiences to enhance the treatment plans.
• Deliver cost-effective interventions that improve motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Promote and advocate for non-surgical alternatives where appropriate.
• Develop personalized care plans incorporating diverse treatment techniques, tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs aimed at enhancing patients’ daily functions.
• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based physical therapy care grounded in proven interventions.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey to optimize their physical functioning.
• Focus on promoting a healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effects, monitor patient progress, and maintain open, clear communication with all stakeholders.
• Accurately document all services provided and relevant patient care information.

Your focus will primarily be on adult patients in need of rehabilitation following orthopedic procedures, injuries, or chronic conditions. Our patients come from various backgrounds, each bringing unique challenges that will require your specialized skills and a thoughtful, individualized approach.

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active California state Physical Therapist license with no disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills and the ability to devise effective therapeutic exercise routines.
• Proficient in using EMR software, specifically WebPT, to facilitate streamlined patient documentation and scheduling.

• At least 2 years of proven experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Track record of successfully developing and managing individualized treatment plans.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
