How much do pta drivers jobs pay per hour?

As of Jul 22, 2026, the average hourly pay for pta drivers in the United States is $31.95, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $26.92 and $35.58 per hour, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What job makes $1,000,000 a year?

In general, very few jobs pay $1,000,000 annually, but high-level executive roles such as CEOs, successful entrepreneurs, and certain specialized professionals in finance, technology, or medicine can reach or exceed this level through bonuses, stock options, or business ownership. These positions often require extensive experience, advanced skills, and significant responsibility.

Can PTAs make 100k a year?

Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) typically do not earn $100,000 annually; their median salaries are usually lower, often between $50,000 and $70,000 per year. Achieving a higher income may require additional experience, specialization, or working in high-paying regions or settings, but reaching six figures is uncommon for most PTAs.

What is the difference between Pta Drivers vs Pta Drivers?

AspectPta Drivers

It appears there is a typo in the comparison, as both titles are the same. Assuming the intended comparison is between Pta Drivers and Pta Assistants, here is the relevant information:

AspectPta Drivers

Pta Drivers typically hold a commercial driver's license (CDL) and are responsible for transporting patients or equipment, often working in healthcare or therapy settings. Pta Assistants support physical therapists in patient care but do not operate vehicles. While Pta Drivers focus on transportation, Pta Assistants focus on assisting with therapy sessions. Both roles may work in healthcare environments, but their credentials and daily tasks differ significantly.

What kind of PTA makes the most money?

In the context of PTA drivers, the highest earning roles typically involve specialized transportation services such as school bus drivers or commercial vehicle drivers, which often require additional certifications like a commercial driver's license (CDL). These positions usually offer higher pay due to the skills, responsibility, and schedules involved. Experience and working in high-demand areas can also increase earning potential for PTA drivers.

Is PTA a dead-end job?

A PTA driver role is typically an entry-level position that can serve as a stepping stone to higher transportation or logistics roles. Advancement often requires additional experience, certifications, or skills, but the job itself is not inherently a dead-end if career growth is pursued. Many drivers move into supervisory or specialized positions over time.
