The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work closely with Physical Therapists to provide high-quality therapy services that help residents improve mobility, strength, independence, and overall quality of life.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated rehabilitation professional who is passionate about resident-centered care and teamwork.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to residents
  • Monitor resident progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Accurately document treatments and resident responses in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines
  • Assist residents with gait training, transfer training, balance activities, and strengthening exercises
  • Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident goals and outcomes
  • Educate residents and families regarding therapy programs and exercises as directed
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures
Qualifications
  • Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
