Sparta Networking is supporting a leading aviation engine overhaul organization in Richmond, Virginia in the hiring of experienced FAA-certified A&P Mechanics with turboprop engine experience.
This role supports a Part 145 repair station environment specializing in turbine engine disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly. The ideal candidate has hands-on PT6 experience and thrives in a precision-driven, shop-based environment.
Full-time and contract opportunities available.
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform PT6 engine disassembly and reassembly
  • Conduct hot section inspections
  • Perform borescope inspections and power section work
  • Inspect, measure, and evaluate engine components
  • Replace and repair parts per manufacturer specifications
  • Follow Part 145 repair station procedures and documentation standards
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and quality requirements
Required Qualifications
  • F irframe & Powerplant (A&P) License - Required
  • Minimum 2+ years turbine engine experience
  • PT6 engine experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in Part 145 repair station environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
Compensation
  • $34.00 - $44.00 per hour (based on experience)
