• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments to establish baseline functional status and identify specific rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the physician and the patient care team, focusing on achieving measurable goals.
• Administer therapeutic interventions which may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and functional training tailored to each patient's needs.
• Provide instruction and education to patients and their families regarding effective therapies, exercises, and the appropriate use of therapeutic devices.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans based on patient response and feedback, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Lead in prioritizing caseload management, determining staffing requirements, and facilitating seamless communication with care teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Participate in continuous professional development activities and contribute to program enhancements that elevate the quality of care provided.

You will be working with a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric individuals facing a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. Our center emphasizes personalized care, allowing you to foster relationships with patients and families that encourage motivation and provide support throughout their healing process.

• A valid and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of the start date.
• Strong interpersonal skills that establish trust and rapport with patients and their families.
• A thorough understanding of physical therapy principles, treatment modalities, and rehabilitation protocols.

• Previous experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred but not mandatory; all levels of experience are encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to effectively document patient care and track progress.
• Interest in pursuing specialty certifications in areas such as orthopedics or pediatrics is a plus.
