• Conduct comprehensive evaluations by reviewing patient histories, performing assessments, and documenting findings accurately to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans effectively to patients and their families, fostering an inclusive approach to goal-setting.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols aligned with each patient’s unique presentation and condition progression, adjusting interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes, including regular consultations for complex cases.
• Monitor and document any changes in patients' conditions, adapting the care plan accordingly to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Manage discharge planning effectively, ensuring a seamless transition from therapy back to everyday activities, and providing detailed follow-up care instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records that reflect the patient's therapy journey, including initial evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Demonstrate excellent time management and productivity, including attending necessary meetings punctually and maintaining an organized schedule.
• Engage in hospital and community outreach programs to promote health education and increase awareness about our services.
• Contribute to departmental goals and support compliance with all governmental and accreditation standards, fostering a culture of excellence in care.
• Pursue opportunities for continuing education and serve as a mentor to students, enhancing both personal and organizational growth.

You will address a diverse patient demographic, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our clinic serves patients across all age groups, ensuring that each treatment plan is personalized to meet the specific needs of the individual, promoting both recovery and overall wellness.

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Active state licensure as required for practice in Florida.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

While prior experience in a clinical setting is not mandatory, we value candidates with a background in orthopedic physical therapy or relevant internships that have provided exposure to patient care environments.
