Our goal is to help every individual achieve the greatest possible level of independence and personal fulfillment.Position SummaryThe Psychometrician administers neuropsychological and psychological tests with adherence to standardized administration procedures to patients with a wide range of medical, neurological, and psychological conditions while establishing rapport to ensure optimal assessment validity and patient performance. You will record your clinical behavioral observations and score test protocols and questionnaires, which are instrumental to neuropsychological test interpretation. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional support and services to our high-needs population, including low-income and rural families. The Psychometrician works under the supervision of a licensed psychologist and does not independently interpret results, establish diagnoses, develop treatment recommendations, or provide clinical feedback.A Typical WorkdayYour day will be structured around scheduled evaluations, with time to prepare assessment materials, review assigned testing batteries, and create a calm environment that helps clients feel comfortable.A testing session includes administering a wide range of psychological and neuropsychological measures chosen by the psychologist, while using strong interpersonal skills to help the patient complete the evaluation. During administrative time, you will score assessments, organize data, complete behavioral observations, and ensure that documentation is accurate and ready for clinical interpretation.You will communicate regularly with the multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, clinicians, practicum students, and administrative staff.
