Job description

Psychological Testing Technician

Four Winds Hospital, a leading provider of psychiatric inpatient services that treats children, adolescents, and adults, is seeking a Psychological Testing Technician.

Monday – Wednesday typically 8:00am-6:00pm.

Responsible for the management of patients who are referred for psychological testing. Escorting patients to and from the testing center, interviewing patients, and administering standardized psychometric measures under the direct supervision of a licensed psychologist. This position will involve participating in the assessment of children, adolescents, and adults, so experience with all three age groups is desirable. It will also involve working with psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, licensed mental health counselors, nursing staff, and other professionals; therefore experience working with multiple allied disciplines is desirable.

Bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field and some experience working with psychiatric patients required. Master's degree in some area of psychology strongly preferred. While experience with psychological tests is desirable it is not required, as detailed training will be provided in all of the instruments used in this setting, and technicians will receive close supervision on an ongoing basis.

Starting hourly rate between $22-$24/hour commensurate with experience.
