Loyola Medicine's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences and Division of Psychology is offering a one-year, full time postdoctoral fellowship in health psychology available for the upcoming academic year.
The Fellow will provide comprehensive services for adult medical patients with special emphasis on psychosocial oncology, organ transplantation, pain management, managing affective disorders in medically ill patients, bariatric procedures, and enhancing treatment compliance.
Training includes inpatient interventions and outpatient services, with instruction in a variety of techniques and psychotherapy modalities. The fellow is also expected to participate in departmental teaching and research activities.
