Job description

Our residency programs are a blend of quality hospitals and clinic facilities. We are seeking a licensed Psychologist for a core faculty position in our Family Medicine Residency Program in Winter Haven, Florida.
The Family Medicine Residency Program Behavioral Health Pyschologist is responsible for curricular design, implementation and resident education in the areas of human behavior, psychiatry and ethics. In addition, this individual will take part in resident recruitment, evaluation and advancement and other residency program administration as assigned by the residency Program Director. Clinical work will involve providing comprehensive mental health care to primary care patients to extend the services of physicians by providing assessment and management of patient care. This position will also review protocols with the other mental health providers at the assigned family medicine practice site and provide consultative services for patients, Family Medicine residents and faculty.
 
Qualifications: 
  • Doctorate in Psychology
  • Licensed Psychologist in the state of Florida or ability to obtain license prior to start
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in psychology
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a training and educational role preferred
