Job description

**Specialty:** Psychologist

**Coverage Type:

**Coverage Duration:** Effective ASAP, pending credentialing through December  

**Practice Setting:** Outpatient Clinic  

**Work Schedule:** 4 days/week, 8-hour shifts; provider can choose either Tuesday or Thursday off.  

**Clinical Responsibilities:**  

- Facilitate group therapy sessions for Invasive Outpatient Program (IOP) on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30 AM to approximately 2:00 PM. 

The core hours are flexible, allowing for earlier start times to prepare for groups.  

- Collaborate within a small, focused team to run therapeutic groups, accommodating 10-12 patients with severe and acute mental health conditions, including bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and issues related to grief, trauma, and adjustment difficulties.  

- Conduct individual follow-up sessions and therapy as needed, alongside initial intake assessments.  

- Engage in case management to assist with transitioning patients to county healthcare services.  

**On-call Duties:** None  

**Patient Load Estimates:**   - Group sessions: 10-12 patients 

  - Individual sessions/check-ins when not in group therapy: durations ranging from 15 minutes to 1 hour.  

**Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System:** EPIC  

**Credentialing Timeline:** Estimated at 60 days from application submission  

**Required Certifications:** Board Certified, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Hospital Association  

**Licensing Candidate Policy:** 

No candidates with pending licenses will be considered.
