How much do psychics jobs pay per hour?

As of Jul 16, 2026, the average hourly pay for psychics in the United States is $19.09, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $18.03 and $19.23 per hour, depending on experience, location, and employer.

How can I become a Psychic reader?

To become a psychic reader, individuals often develop their intuitive abilities through practice, study, or mentorship. Many pursue training in areas like tarot, astrology, or energy healing, and some obtain certifications from reputable organizations. Building experience and establishing credibility are key steps in establishing a career as a psychic reader.

What does a psychic do?

A psychic is someone who claims to have extrasensory abilities, such as clairvoyance, telepathy, or intuition, to gain insight into people, events, or situations. They may provide guidance or predictions about the future, interpret energies, or communicate with spirits. Psychics often use tools like tarot cards, crystal balls, or astrology charts to enhance their readings. Many work independently, while others offer their services online, over the phone, or in-person. While some believe in psychic abilities, others view them with skepticism.

What is the salary of a Psychic?

The salary of a psychic varies widely depending on experience, location, and whether they work independently or for a company. On average, psychics can earn from $20,000 to $100,000 or more annually, with many charging per session or reading. Successful psychics often build a client base and may supplement income through online platforms or events.

How much do psychics earn?

Psychics' earnings vary widely depending on experience, reputation, location, and the services offered. On average, they may charge between $50 and $300 per session, with some highly established psychics earning more through private readings, events, or online platforms. Many work independently or through spiritual centers, setting their own rates and schedules.

Do the police hire psychics?

Law enforcement agencies sometimes consult psychics as part of criminal investigations, but their use is controversial and not officially recognized as evidence. Police typically rely on forensic science, interviews, and investigative techniques rather than psychic abilities. Hiring of psychics by police is rare and not a standard practice in criminal justice.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Psychics position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Psychic, you need strong intuitive or perceptive abilities, keen observational skills, and experience in techniques such as tarot reading, astrology, or numerology. Familiarity with specialized tools like tarot cards, crystal balls, or astrology software, as well as any certification from reputable metaphysical organizations, is beneficial. Outstanding interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to communicate sensitive insights tactfully help build trust with clients. These skills are vital for providing valuable guidance, maintaining client confidence, and building a reputable practice.

What does a typical day look like for professional psychics, and what types of services do they often provide?

A typical day for professional psychics involves conducting one-on-one readings—either in person, over the phone, or via online platforms—and preparing for sessions by reviewing client questions or concerns. Psychics may offer a range of services, such as tarot card readings, mediumship, astrology reports, or spiritual counseling, depending on their expertise and client needs. Administrative duties, such as scheduling appointments, following up with clients, and maintaining client records, are also part of the role. Many psychics work independently, but some are part of teams at wellness centers or online advisory platforms, which can offer opportunities for collaboration and ongoing learning.

Job description

Who We Are:

Outlook Amusements operates a leading B2C consumer marketplace through its flagship brand, California Psychics. For over 30 years, the company has been dedicated to connecting individuals with trusted, expert guidance. Through personalized psychic readings and life guidance delivered by top-rated professional advisors, we help people gain clarity, confidence, and direction at meaningful moments in their lives.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for a Director of Product Management to join our team.

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer and partnering closely with the Executive Team, the Director of Product will lead the execution and evolution of our digital marketplace platform. This leader will translate strategic vision into prioritized roadmaps and deliver measurable growth across acquisition, engagement, matching, conversion, and retention.
This is a builder role that will operate deeply in discovery, requirements development, analytics, and sprint execution while strengthening the product discipline, decision clarity, and operating systems that enable the team to scale effectively.
The right candidate leads through action: identifying friction early, proposing solutions, installing better processes, and owning outcomes from concept through measurable business impact.

What You’ll Do:

Marketplace Strategy & Roadmap Ownership

  • Develop and maintain a clear, outcome-driven roadmap aligned with business objectives
  • Optimize supply and demand dynamics across the advisor and customer ecosystem
  • Improve marketplace liquidity, conversion rates, and session utilization
  • Define KPIs tied to growth, engagement, retention, lifetime value, and revenue
  • Frame roadmap initiatives around clear problem statements, user insight, and measurable business outcomes
  • Partner with Data and Finance to define and monitor core business metrics directly influenced by Product
  • Lead structured platform and roadmap reviews with Engineering to ensure scalability and long-term integrity
  • Communicate priorities, tradeoffs, and progress to cross-functional stakeholders

Product Discovery & Execution

  • Lead customer research, usability testing, and data-driven discovery initiatives
  • Translate business strategy into detailed PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Design through sprint cycles to ensure clarity and delivery excellence
  • Participate actively in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release coordination
  • Lead at least one cross-functional discovery sprint per quarter to deepen user and market understanding
  • Ensure all major initiatives include defined success metrics and structured post-launch impact evaluation
  • Ensure timely, high-quality launches and measurable outcomes

Growth & Optimization

  • Improve customer acquisition funnels and conversion paths
  • Identify friction points in onboarding, advisor selection, and session flow
  • Drive experimentation through A/B testing and behavioral analytics
  • Optimize subscription, promotional, and retention strategies
  • Deliver clear reporting that connects product launches to business performance

Intelligent Product Development

  • Identify opportunities to enhance advisor-customer matching through personalization and AI-driven recommendations
  • Explore automation opportunities that improve advisor workflows and customer experience
  • Evaluate build vs. buy solutions for AI-powered tools and integrations
  • Ensure responsible, measurable implementation of intelligent features

Team & Process Leadership

  • Establish a practical, scalable Product Operating Framework that standardizes discovery, prioritization, and roadmap tracking
  • Define clear decision ownership across Product, Engineering, and Design to reduce ambiguity and increase velocity
  • Develop Product Managers to independently own end-to-end initiatives tied to measurable outcomes
  • Identify and replace outdated processes with streamlined, scalable alternatives
  • Foster a culture of ownership, urgency, and outcome-driven thinking

What You’ll Need To Be Successful:

  • 8–12+ years of product management experience
  • Experience building or scaling a consumer marketplace or two-sided platform strongly preferred
  • Experience with subscription, usage-based, or transactional revenue models
  • Proven success optimizing web and/or mobile customer journeys
  • Exposure to AI-driven personalization, recommendations, or automation is a plus
  • Strong partnership experience with Engineering leadership
  • Deep familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to ship products that drive measurable revenue impact
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field

Working Conditions:

  • Continuous work on a personal computer.
  • Ability to work from home including a stable internet connection.
  • Travel to headquarter office in Los Angeles when needed.

What We Offer:

At Outlook Amusements, we foster a collaborative and supportive virtual environment where your success is our success. From day one, you'll feel welcomed by a team that’s deeply committed to helping you thrive. We take business seriously, focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers, and make room for fun along the way!
