Job description

JOB TITLE: Registered Nurse
CLASSIFICATION: Central Nursing
PROGRAM/DEPARTMENT: Full Time, Monday-Friday, Non-Exempt
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: RN Supervising Residential Nurse
POSITION SUMMARY: Registered Nurse ensuring appropriate medical care to the people we serve, directly or through an LPN, by: performing skilled nursing duties; providing training, direction, and assistance to direct care staff; communicating and enforcing medical policies and procedures; providing oversight to certified staff in the administration of medication.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education, Training & Experience:
Current New York State Registered Nurse license
One (1) year nursing experience
Preferred Education, Training & Experience:
Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Valid New York State driver's license that meets the Agency's driving policy and reliable transportation
Ability and willingness to travel to various Intandem locations to perform skilled nursing duties Ability to demonstrate empathy and sensitivity to the physical and psychological needs of the people we serve
Effective communication effectively orally and in writing
SALARY:
$37.44 - $43.68 per hour starting rate based on years licensed
$10,000 sign on bonus paid out over 2 years
Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
