School Psychologist
Location: Seaside School District, Oregon
Schedule: 20 hours per week | School Year 2026–2027
Contract Length: 9 months
Start Date: August 31, 2026
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support students in the Seaside School District. In this role, you will help students address mental health, behavioral, and developmental needs while playing an essential role in determining eligibility for specialized educational services.
You’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success in a welcoming and team-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological evaluations for service eligibility
- Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
- Participate in manifestation determination meetings
- Support crisis planning and intervention efforts
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Speech-Language Pathologists and ASD specialists
- Provide data-driven recommendations to support student outcomes
- Partner with another School Psychologist and district leadership
Compensation
What We’re Looking For
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Experience with or knowledge of the PSW model for identifying specific learning disabilities
- Comfort working in a rural school setting
- Ability to manage a part-time, flexible schedule
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Oregon TSPC School Psychologist license
- Master’s degree in psychology (preferred)
- Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations (preferred)
- Knowledge of and adherence to professional practice standards
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB screening (if applicable)
- Current health clearance per state or contract requirements
- Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
