What is a Psoriasis Sales representative?

A Psoriasis Sales representative is a pharmaceutical sales professional who specializes in promoting and selling medications or treatments specifically designed for psoriasis, a chronic skin condition. They work with dermatologists, healthcare providers, and sometimes directly with patients to educate them about the benefits, usage, and effectiveness of their company's psoriasis products. Their responsibilities include building relationships with healthcare professionals, providing product information, attending industry events, and staying informed about advances in psoriasis treatments. Successful representatives are knowledgeable about the disease, the competitive landscape, and effective sales strategies.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Psoriasis Sales Representative, and why are they important?

To excel as a Psoriasis Sales Representative, you need a solid background in pharmaceutical sales, knowledge of dermatology products, and at least a bachelor's degree in a related field. Familiarity with CRM systems, pharmaceutical regulations, and certifications like Certified National Pharmaceutical Representative (CNPR) are beneficial. Outstanding interpersonal skills, persuasive communication, and the ability to build rapport with healthcare professionals set top performers apart. These competencies drive successful client relationships, ensure accurate product representation, and ultimately boost sales in a competitive healthcare market.

Psoriasis Sales focuses on promoting and selling treatments specifically for psoriasis, requiring specialized knowledge of psoriasis therapies. Dermatology Sales covers a broader range of skin conditions, including psoriasis, but also encompasses other dermatological products. While both roles involve sales in the medical field, Psoriasis Sales is more specialized, whereas Dermatology Sales offers a wider scope within skin health.

How does a Psoriasis Sales professional typically collaborate with healthcare providers and internal teams?

As a Psoriasis Sales professional, you will frequently work with dermatologists, primary care physicians, and pharmacists to provide them with the latest product information, clinical data, and patient support resources. Collaboration with your internal team—such as medical science liaisons, marketing, and patient services—is also essential to ensure consistent messaging and to address any clinical or insurance-related questions. Building strong relationships and maintaining regular communication with both external and internal stakeholders is key to driving product adoption and supporting patient outcomes.

Job description

Description

Are you the person your friends call when they have a skincare emergency? Do you believe that what you put on your body is just as important as what you put in it?

For 16 years, Naples Soap Company has been helping customers with sensitive skin find products that actually work. Founded by a former nurse who solved her own family's eczema and psoriasis, we now carry 600+ clean beauty SKUs across our Florida locations. We're looking for someone who can match the experience our customers expect from this destination.

What you'll do

Consult one-on-one with customers on skincare concerns and build personalized routines from our full clean beauty range. You'll turn a shopping trip into a genuine discovery session - part educator, part advisor, part brand ambassador. You'll also maintain the look, feel, and fragrance of one of Naples' most beloved boutiques, and contribute to team sales goals through real relationship-building.

  • Consult & Educate: Listen to customers' skin concerns and curate personalized routines using our products.
  • Create an Experience: Transform a simple shopping trip into a spa-like discovery session.
  • Drive Results: Meet and exceed sales goals by building genuine relationships and brand loyalty.
  • Lead the Floor: Maintain a beautiful, inviting store environment that smells as good as it looks.

Who we're looking for

You have a genuine interest in clean beauty and ingredient integrity - and you know how to communicate that enthusiasm in a way that feels helpful, not pushy. You're comfortable on a busy retail floor, experienced in hitting sales targets, and available for evenings, weekends, and holidays. A background in beauty retail, esthetics, or cosmetology is a plus.

  • Skincare Enthusiast: You have a genuine interest in beauty, wellness, and ingredient integrity.
  • People Person: You are outgoing, confident, and find joy in helping others feel comfortable in their own skin.
  • Professional: You have 1+ year of retail or beauty retail experience and a track record of hitting sales targets.
  • Team Player: You're available for nights, weekends, and holidays (when our customers need us most!).

Compensation & benefits

  • Starting pay: $18/hr
  • Location: 5th Avenue South, Naples, FL
  • Schedule: Full-time or Part-time, including evenings, weekends & holidays
  • Product discount: Generous employee discount on products
  • Requirements: Must pass background screening 1+ year retail experience

Ready to represent a brand you'll actually believe in? Send your resume - we'd love to meet you.
