Job description

As directed by the team leader and accountable to the Support Services Manager, the PSA is a primary member of the support team. Works collaboratively with the direct care team to provide housekeeping, supply management, laundry services, equipment management and unit specific special projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Removes all regular and medical waste per departmental guidelines.
• Cleans and disinfects all bathrooms and fixtures according to departmental guidelines.
• Cleans and disinfects all patient rooms on a daily basis per departmental guidelines.
• Performs resident personal laundry according to departmental guidelines.
• Cleans and disinfects all common areas, entrances and offices per departmental guidelines.
• Performs other duties consistent with purpose of job as directed.
REQUIRED
• High school diploma or equivalent.
