Job description

Provider Representative
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Automated Health Systems is seeking a Provider Representative to support provider enrollment activities and assist healthcare providers through inbound customer service and application processing.

Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service to healthcare providers through inbound call support
  • Assist providers with enrollment, revalidation, and updates
  • Guide providers through online and paper enrollment applications
  • Review provider information for accuracy and completeness
  • Collect missing or incomplete documentation
  • Enter data and scan documentation as needed
  • Maintain security of electronic and paper provider records
  • Respond to provider inquiries regarding enrollment requirements
  • Document actions taken to resolve provider issues
  • Participate in training and quality improvement initiatives
  • Assist with assigned projects and related duties
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Social or Behavioral Sciences or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of health or human services experience with customer contact required
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
