Job description

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: At United Digestive, we prioritize building and maintaining strong relationships with targeted physicians and practice referral sources to drive and sustain incremental volume into our network practices. The Regional Account Executive Manager leads provider referral growth by combining hands on field outreach with strategic team leadership. This role manages a portfolio of targeted referral relationships while guiding, coordinating, and evaluating the performance of the Regional Account Executive team. The position ensures consistent execution of outreach strategies, accurate performance tracking, and continuous optimization to drive referral volume. This full time role is based in Atlanta, GA and requires regular local travel and time at headquarters.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Lead field outreach and provider relationship strategies, developing targeted marketing and engagement plans in collaboration with Marketing and leadership teams
  • Establish, manage, and grow relationships with referring providers, staff, and community partners through regular in person and virtual engagement
  • Provide direct leadership, coaching, and performance management for a team of Regional Account Executives across multiple territories
  • Develop and execute data driven territory and provider targeting strategies using CRM, referral analytics, and market intelligence
  • Translate organizational growth objectives into actionable outreach plans, campaigns, and quarterly initiatives
  • Oversee CRM data integrity, reporting, and communication workflows to support referral growth and performance tracking
  • Monitor, analyze, and report team and program performance, delivering actionable insights through regular reports and business reviews
  • Act as a key internal and external resource, resolving provider concerns, identifying new business opportunities, and strengthening referral pathways
  • Coordinate community engagement activities, events, provider onboarding, and cross functional marketing initiatives

EDUCATION, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE:
  • Required:
    • Associate's degree required; equivalent combination of education and significant relevant experience accepted
    • 2+ years of experience in medical, pharmaceutical, or medical device sales, or healthcare provider relations
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a team lead, supervisory, or senior individual contributor role
    • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong professional relationships
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding productivity and performance targets
    • Experience mentoring, coaching, or guiding peers to achieve individual and team goals
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, presentation tools, and CRM software systems
  • Preferred:
    • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, healthcare administration, or a related field
    • Familiarity with referral analytics tools and reporting platforms strongly preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Daily travel within the designated region, and additional travel (nationwide) as business needs dictate.
