Position Summary
We are seeking a high-potential Executive Operations Manager to work directly with our Executive Vice President. This is a developmental operating role for someone who wants to learn how a complex service business is managed and grow into broader leadership responsibility. The person will help the EVP organize priorities, prepare decisions, coordinate initiatives, strengthen management routines, and ensure important commitments are completed. The successful candidate will work across all business service lines and business functions. They will gain broad exposure to company operations, leadership decisions, client priorities, staffing, financial performance, and strategic initiatives. This is not a traditional administrative-support position. Calendar and meeting support are part of the job, but the primary purpose is to increase the EVP's effectiveness and improve execution across the EVP's area of responsibility. For the right individual, this position offers a potential long-term path toward Chief of Staff.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the EVP's calendar, meetings, and strategic priorities.
  • Prepare agendas, briefing materials, reports, and executive communications.
  • Support leadership decisions by gathering and organizing relevant information.
  • Track key decisions, commitments, action items, and follow-up activities.
  • Ensure accountability by monitoring progress against deadlines and objectives.
  • Provide concise updates on priorities, risks, issues, and project status.
  • Coordinate leadership meetings and operational reviews.
  • Support reporting related to operations, staffing, financial performance, client service, and major initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments and teams.
  • Assist with cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Document key processes and develop tools, templates, and reporting resources.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, communication, and follow-through.
  • Gain a strong understanding of company operations, clients, and business drivers.
  • Build productive relationships with field and administrative leaders.
  • Exercise sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
