As a vital member of our mental health care network, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychotherapy to adults facing emotional and psychological challenges. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to utilize technology-driven approaches in therapy while promoting accessible mental health care.

About the Organization

Gallant Young & Adult Healthcare is a leading online mental health clinic committed to enhancing the emotional well-being of our clients. Our mission is to redefine access to mental health care by prioritizing patient needs, reducing treatment costs, and ensuring exceptional therapeutic outcomes. We are a forward-thinking organization that employs advanced technology to facilitate smoother therapeutic interactions and foster lasting therapeutic relationships between our counselors and clients.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home or any location that suits your lifestyle. You'll conduct therapy sessions through secure online video chat, making it easier for you to connect with clients without the hassles of commuting. This setting promotes a balanced work-life environment, as you will have the autonomy to manage your schedule and set your hours while working alongside a dedicated team of like-minded professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clientsโ€™ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy sessions via telehealth, employing methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic practices.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and maintaining accurate client records while adhering to confidentiality laws.
  • Engage in regular supervision and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay informed about best practices.
  • Actively participate in virtual team meetings that foster collaboration, share insights, and discuss therapeutic approaches to improve patient outcomes.
  • Monitor clientsโ€™ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal results.
  • Manage caseload efficiently while ensuring each client receives the attention and care they require.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in our outpatient setting, you will primarily work with adults who experience a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and overall emotional distress. This role demands a culturally competent and empathetic approach to therapy, understanding the unique challenges and backgrounds of each client in a virtual environment.

Qualifications
  • A masterโ€™s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology from a regionally accredited institution.
  • An active and unrestricted clinical license, such as LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW.
  • A minimum of two years of experience providing clinical psychotherapy, particularly to adult populations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
  • Strong written communication skills for documenting session notes effectively and accurately.
  • A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions from licensing boards in any jurisdiction.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a fully remote telehealth setting or a strong desire to transition to a virtual care model.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) software to streamline documentation and patient management.
  • Previous involvement in multidisciplinary teams or collaborative care settings.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, you will be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, and generous paid time off to support your well-being.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Gallant Young & Adult Healthcare, we emphasize continuous professional development and provide various opportunities for career advancement. Our organization fosters an environment conducive to lifelong learning, offering access to workshops, webinars, and conferences that enhance your clinical knowledge and skills. As part of our team, you will have the chance to take on leadership roles and contribute to the growth of our mental health initiatives.

Why Join Our Team
